The only remaining regular from the original Shivilenco line-up, Alex is the company's resident character actor. Whatever the part, Alex dominates the screen and creates one memorable character after another.
The former Bluecoat Head Boy was destined for a career in either singing or acting. Ultimately, he attempted to combine both, with minor television roles and several theatre appearances during the early 1990s, complementing his involvement in a new Merseyside band, Rigsby's Cat. Sadly for the acting world, Alex's singing commitments have long dominated his time, as Rigsby's Cat became one of the region's hardest-working bands, with Alex as its lead singer. He still finds time for the occasional piece of theatre work, most recently starring in a version of War Of The Worlds.
Fortunately for Shivilenco, he always tries to make himself available for the latest project and his versatility is often tested to the limit by Colin's casting. When Colin required someone to play God (yes, you did read that correctly) in Souled Down The River, Alex was the only candidate.
The elaborate roles look set to continue as Alex takes on two parts in the forthcoming Jimmy Wilde.
